Harness the Power of a Visionary

I consider a true visionary as someone who combines their dream with a plan. A dream is the process of visualizing an idea within your thoughts. It is the manifestation of a desire that is either internal or external in nature. A plan is the process of creating a strategy that contains the necessary actions required to reach the desired outcome. You have the Super Power to become a great visionary by harnessing the internal gift of possibilities. If you dream of sailing across the ocean you will then create a plan that will turn that dream into a possibility. Your plan may take the path of building a boat yourself or saving the money needed to buy one. You will plan the course of travel along with the necessary amenities.

Dreams only require you to visualize your desire, but your plan requires you to obtain the tools that will build the dream into reality. So many dreams remain in the thought stage as a result of missing tools. A plan must contain every tool needed to complete the project of your dream. Each action step of the plan may involve the use of several tools from those easily obtained while others may be very difficult. This means the overall plan you develop to obtain your dream must also include smaller plans within it to gain the needed resources. So you can see that your tools represent the required resources needed to complete your plan and realize your dream.

Identifying the most effective tools to ensure success can be a daunting process and requires your time and dedicated focus. Although there a several ways to approach the process, I prefer the old fashion pen and paper. Start by putting your dream at the top of the page, then create a plan list that identifies the required steps in the order they will be acquired. These steps may include such things as required money, change in geographic or other situational changes and actions required. Then make a list of required tools to support the plan, these may include a job or selling certain assets to obtain the required money, or locating property in the targeted geographic.

People have asked me why I insist on separating the use of words like dreams and goals the answer is that I consider goals to be the product of elements within our immediate surroundings and grasp which are commonly shared by others. Goals are usually made up of things such as career advancement or home remodeling and even weight loss. Although goals can be challenging to obtain, they usually have the benefit of assisted planning from others who have achieved them. Dreams are born beyond the commonalities of society; a dream is the vision of something bigger something found in the deepest part of your hearts desire.

God gave us the Super Power of discernment and consideration within thought and the ability to dream. These are the remarkable elements of our existence that allow us to build civilizations, save lives and explore other worlds. Harnessing the Super Powers of a Visionary begins with the courage to undertake the journey void of reservation or doubt; it demands your full belief and relies upon your unwavering desire.

A dream can never die but only by the hand of its creator, a dream cannot be denied but only by surrender of its seeker. B.Page ®2012
